They may allow 2 channels if they happen to be on the same satellite. If only one coax is connected to the dish and split later in the wiring you will only get on channel.

Thanks Mike, it’s a Winegard HD Dish. It’s not a round dome dish. We generally get three good satellites that register. I have two separate coax cables, one connected to each Wally. I think it’s a wiring issue, but probably need a diagram.
