Not at all. Took a video cable (RCA plug on both ends) plugged into rear video in in the Axxera. The other end goes to VIDEO out in the camera switch, which is behind the speedometer in our VEGAS. I cut the pink BRAKE cable from the radio and attached to the radio ground. I already had our XM radio plugged into the left and right audio into the Axxera rear inputs. That was it.
