If you want to add 4-5 hours to your trip you may want to consider heading to Portland and then down I-5 to explore Oregon and California. The freeways are good and there are lots of places to stay. Also plenty of options for excursions if you have time.

We just did our shakedown cruise to Canyonville, OR, and tried out the Seven Feathers RV Resort there, which is rated 10/10/10 at Good Sams. Liked it so much we stayed for 3 nights. Be sure to get there early and go to the casino and sign up. There is a coupon special they are running for Monday through Thursday stays and our cost was just $19/nt! They may not be running it in June but you'll still get a discount if you join the Players Club which is free.
