Stops on sliders

I noticed recently that each slider on my 37TB has aluminum angle stops at top and bottom on each side of the slides. I also noticed that some have come loose as they seem to be only secured to wood using self tapping screws? I contacted Thor and they confirmed that these pieces of white angle are there to stop the slider, I assume from falling out . Thor instructed me to re-secure them with the correct wood screws and they could also be slightly re-located as to not use the same stripped holes. Has anyone experienced this same issue?
