ummmh... most of us 240v 50amp owners know that you don't need any '2 different phases' of power to simply make use of two 120v 30amp RV outlets - the 50amp main panel in the motorhome doesn't care. I've used these in several special situations where a campground or private owner has only 30amp outlets available - it gives me the option to make use of both of those for up to 60amps of 120v power, especially in hot summer months when using both a/c units and everything else.

I think you're confusing two phases of 240v power, which is different. 30amp outlets for RVs are only 120v power and work just fine for a 50amp motorhome as both incoming sources are simply used on both sides of the breaker panel to be shared between the breakers that need them. Easy.

Not sure what the reference to junk is about, but these adapters are designed to be used in these situations, and work very effectively. The same for the 30/15 to 50amp adapter - it simply uses the two sources to bring more available amperage into the coach. Easy.

I've used Conntek marine shore power cords with my boat for years. They are great cords.
