Didn't notice any difference in power. I expect about the same mileage. It is a six speed vs a five in the 22e.

We have the Chateau 23U. The floor plan is very similar to the 22E you are considering, but it adds the barrel chair behind the cab, which we really like. That chair is very comfortable for sitting and reading. It has a seatbelt and is a nice place for our son to sit where he is close to mom and dad in the cab when he isn't working on something at the dinette.
