Placement of GPS and other devices

I have a Class A Outlaw and would like to have my GPS and iPad on the dashboard. What have others come up with for a Mount? I do not want to drill into the factory dash.

Here's what I use for my iPad But if you don't have a cellular iPad, it won't have a GPS chip, so it's not much help navigating.

I use my phone and Apple Maps for navigation and mount it on the driver's side window instead of the dash. I haven't been successful in getting any of the standard suction modes to hold for very long on the Vegas dash surface and, obviously, the front windshield glass is too far away.

It appears I have the same mount as Sage. I also use the driver side window and it works great with the I-pad. Jim.

Have the same mount as Sage. However, with the Akron APVHB20 90mm extra strength adhesive mounting disk, I'm able to mount directly on the dash material. In six months of driving, my iPad has stayed secured.

I also use one of the heavy duty self-sticking mount plates along with two bean bag mounts for cell phone, GPS, iOBD monitor and TPMS. All have magnetic mounts to the actual devices.

The bean bags do bounce around some so they are only used for smaller devices and smooth roads.

I have Rokform case for my iPhone X and it has a magnet. I mount the opposing magnet on the dash. It works great. I use the same set up in my Jeep.

Different approach

I bought a cheap clear 9" X 12" clip plastic board. Gps, Tpms and whatever i want goes on with suction cup holders. This rest on the doghouse usually in my line of sight and easily moved for DW to see where we are going. Once at camp it gets put away. Not a fan of things on the dash or stuck on window.

Mounting devices on dash

I have my gps mounted on a sandbag with the wire fished down through the dash top panel. The scan gauge is on a stick on plate with a suction mount and on the drivers left side near the leveler controls is my suction mounted phone holder. The gps sand bag will move around some on real bumpy roads, but I havenít found a more permanent mount that will hold it securely yet?

I use suction mounts for everything since I donít like to drill holes either. The smooth part of the plastic dash is wide enough for most mounts. For larger suction cups I attached adhesive suction discs. Everything is secure and easy to see but does not block outward vision.

Visual input should be right where you can see it. I like navigation devices to be located in easy touch reach.

Like SuperD, my dash bezel worked pretty good. When I got the RV770 GPS I also got a large sticky pad with a disc for suction cup mount and it worked great.

In my Class C. GPS, Sat radio, and toad brake controller. I put them all in the middle so DW can control it all white I drive. I don't like all the loose wires so I opened the dash panel and ran the power wires into the outlet that is in the glove box. Then I didn't like having to open glove box to unplug them so I rewired the outlet with a switch on the dash. Now when we stop all we do is flip the switch and they are all off.
