Wife and I have unlimited everything, including Disney+, ESPN, Hulu, and the verizon home box which is unlimited data that we use in the motorhome. The box never leaves the motorhome and is on even at home in the driveway. $120 for all. We've never had a problem with calls of wifi in the 11000 miles we traveled last year
If Verizon ever passes me off I'll be going to t-mobile

Four men are in the hospital waiting room because their wives are having babies. A nurse goes up to the first guy and says, "Congratulations! You're the father of twins."
"That's odd," answers the man. "I work for the Minnesota Twins!"
A nurse says to the second guy, "Congratulations! You're the father of triplets!"
"That's weird," answers the second man. "I work for the 3M company!"
A nurse tells the third man, "Congratulations! You're the father of quadruplets!"
"That's strange," he answers. "I work for the Four Seasons hotel!"
The last man is groaning and banging his head against the wall. "What's wrong?", the others ask.
"I work for 7 Up!"

Getting really fed up with censorship on web sites. If you read something that hurts your little feelings move to something else.

Better than many. IRV2 has become so woke and snowflake it's useless. But you have to have thick skin to be on most Harley forums. They can be fun.

I found a $25per hour electrician last weekend. Retired electrical engineer who's bored. He'd been to my shop before but I don't remember.
Today he put in a dozen more Alexa/echo switches.
There's 37 circuits down there and now I can turn off all lights from anywhere. I often forget a line of ceiling lights. I figure the $200 I gave him will counter my yearly forgetting to turn off lights.
I use meross switches and plugs because they program/initiate easily.
He'll do 12 more circuits in the house next week.
A proximity app in the phones will turn on porch lights, open the gate, turn on interior lights, open the blinds, then close the gate and turn off porch lights, upon our arrival.
I've had about 40% of the system running for over a year. It's been close to flawless.
I have meross plugs in the rv to turn on/off things.
Echo, turn off blankets.
Echo, start the coffee pot.
Ok.
We have an echo show on the rv dash to monitor home cameras.
Echo, show me east camera.
Ok
Echo, call Race Bannon.
Ok.
I'm smart enough do the installs myself, which means I'm also smart enough to hire him to do the installs.

We have a whole house proximity sensor. If anyone comes into the yard he starts barking like crazy. His name is Marco the beast... but they're also going to be on video.

To me AI is scary. If it's developed to be perfect we, the humans in this formula, are in trouble such as what HAL was going to do in Space Odyssey 2001. If it's inferior we are still in trouble because too many even more inferior "human types" will rely on it completely such as the self driving/steering/braking car we are graced with now.
Just like not everybody should be headed to college, not everybody should be headed to the driver's seat. Some people just don't have it.

Every of my switches can be operated manually(looks just like a wall switch and replaced the original switches in their same box), and every wall wart has an added feature of a manual on/off switch I didn't have before.
My powered gates fail in the open position(or closed if I change a setting).
The installations in no way obligated me to use it.
And
My grandmother believed, as the largest percentage of people did at the time;
The speed a train went would cause passenger suffocation.
(Luddite lesson lookup)
And
Lowest-common-denominator should never be involved in any design capability. They(lcd's) are who warning signs and locks are for.
I'm not flying a jet because I am incapable. My incapability did not stop their aircraft design. My incapability contributed. My incapability means that the ejection switch isn't out on the wing(non-LCD incapability) where I can't reach it, but it didn't mean my eyesight kept those who see better from flying(LCD incapability)
Some folks can't work their RV radio. Should axxera not have included the map function because of those incapable of using it, thus dis-rewarding those who can?
And
Ai cannot think any more than an Ouija Board can.
Ai is just an average/best guess of millions of inputted answers.
It has perfect memory and no sense.
Some singular person who has seen only one cow might believe all cows are only that color. Ask a million folks about cow color. Ai asked them....
If 10,000 people told ai how much they hated cows, and no one told it differently, Ai could only vehemently hate cows.
And
When you do that silly website security thing of
'Check the boxes that have a stoplight'
It has little to do with security. The input you input is being used to train ai to recognize stoplights(or dogs or crosswalks or trees). You've been duped.
And
Ravens see each other as colored like an infinitely individualistic parrot hummingbird cross due to their eye structure. We see only the least of least when we look at raven color.
Knowledge is an illusion. Don't be illuded.
The sun does not rise, the sky is not blue, walnuts aren't nuts, ravens are not black.
We think the opposite of these examples to be true.
They are not.
Distantly ago they were indeed induced truths because it was all we knew.
We still say these small lies so as to cater to the lcd's.
We are them, they are us.
