I assume he's referring to St Johns Marina changing to a KOA but I could be wrong.

Ft. Desoto is a county site- i was referencing the change of the St. John's site to KOA affiliation.

We missed the rally in April right after we bought our MH but we were in the area in Webster at my DW's family reunion. We do have this one booked though; we'll be in D13.

News flash!!!

For those of us staying or visiting on Sunday, October 29th, we're adding a 3 hour cruise on the Minnow! Well, actually it's a two hour narrated cruise on the St. Johns river, which is even better.

We're going on the 10 AM Sunday cruise. The cost will be $20/pp, rather than the usual cost of $26. Reservations are available for the first 49 people, including those outside our group. Call Tiffany at 386-876-4843 and put your name on the list. Tell her you are with the Thor/Sunshine group. She said there are always wildlife photography opportunities. We'll be back in plenty of time to vacate our campsites.

Join us, we're going to have a great time!

Checked in with Tiffany today about our cruise on Oct 29. The St Johns river has crested and their boat is undamaged from the hurricane and the flooding. They will be off the river until mid-October, but in plenty of time for our planned outing.

The number I posted was incorrect, my apologies. Call 386-873-4843 and have your name put on the list, if you want to join us.

The campground is high and dry, but was without electricity for over a week. The are no big trees, so there didn't appear to be damage. Hopefully everything, including the restaurant, will be fully operational by the end of October.

Booked for Fri/Sat nights - we're up to D25 - sounds like a growing group!!
Left message to reserve the river cruise.

Looks like first one all 3 of us will be at. My rig and dog has been at both previous Central Florida rallys.. lol

Looking forward to having you with us. We have room for more!

Checked with the St Johns River KOA today, and our count is now 14 rigs. I have heard from most, but not all who have reservations. I would appreciate a PM from those who haven't contacted me.

The area where our group will be is above the flooding river, but the Sunday AM river cruise will depend on conditions at that time. The staff is concerned about more rain in the forecast. Stay tuned for updates.

Just a quick update for those joining us at St. Johns River KOA on October 27th. Potluck dinner will kick things off for Friday evening. It's BYOE (bring your own everything) and a dish to share. Let's start happy hour at 5 PM and plan dinner at 6. If you have a table to use, bring it along, with your chairs.

Saturday lunch will be on your own, and we can walk to St Johns River Grill for dinner together on Saturday evening. Not too late to call and add your name to the group for the river cruise on Sunday morning.

In the area, but can't bring your RV? Come anyway for any part of the gathering. RV is optional!

The only inside there is our coaches! The contingency rain plan is to go to the restaurant. At this time of year, there is an excellent chance of good weather.

Pray for nice Florida fall weather!

We just booked into site D17! We hope to take the “Minnow Tour” as well, but have to wait until tomorrow to reserve a spot as they aren’t open on Mondays. We’ve made some small trips, but this will be our first big trip since purchasing our 2016 Axis 25.2 in June. We’re busy planning our route and building our checklists today. Copilot Mollee is raring to go on our first big adventure and so are we. This is going to be fun! [emoji16]Click image for larger version

Hello Rally goers. I will be attending the rally in spot D2. I sold my 2016 Axis 25.2 and have a set of almost new tire covers that I cant use anymore cause I have a Windsport now. If anyone is interested in buying them $30 for 4. I will bring them with me.

Is anyone staying over Sunday too? We have reservations for 3 days. Curious to see if others were staying.

We are going, have site D14 and will be staying the additional Sunday night. Booked the river boat trip as well.

It's nice when a plan comes together as we have 4 days at Silver Springs State Park right after leaving the Thor/Sunshine gathering on Monday morning.

We’re staying over on Sunday as well. Monday we plan to see where the road leads us to start our trip back north to MN. Anyone have suggestions?
