Cook top

Motor that raises and lowers the counter top covering the gas cook top quit. Motor OK gear is bad. Motor discontinued. Any ideas?

Maybe call DRV to find out what they are currently using and see if you can retro fit it? Maybe you could make a prop like a car hood? You would also have to place some sort of cushioning when the top is in the down position if you go with the prop method. So the top does not crack when traveling. I assume you have an Elite with the granite counter tops.

When you have the Quartz tops they are VERY heavy so a lift is needed. My motor always sounds like it's on it's last lift.
