They drug my rigs rear one time when putting it into the work bay. Until I pointed it out to him, he was ready to try again to push. Then I had to rise the fronts before he could drag them, too. I didnt notice until today that they some how bent the lower plate on my Morryde hitch. Right between the two white sliders.

They never use a spotter; the most basic of safety techniques.
The front gear is REALLY close when they move the rigs. They really should take the 30 seconds to retract it and then set it when in the shop.

"These guys at DRV DO read these Forums and maybe they took note that the rear cap on the lower level actually needs BACKING."

I was wondering about that. I wonder how many units were taken back to DRV for that repair. Ours wasn't done right at DRV but hopefully you're right Ron, that they sat up and took note.

REALLY glad to hear the positive results were achieved for your repair. Using the wood backing will ensure NO more troubles in that area. Since fixing ours with wood backing we haven't had ANY issues.

Honestly Dan, if they read these forums, I think it is just that. The techs there keep repairing the same things. They do not even communicate with the factory line. If they did, most issues would correct themselves.

Great point Ryan....... You would think manufactures (Thor) would take note but as long as we buy in record numbers why change right?

Is anyone getting it repaired beyond the one year warranty?

Ours was "repaired" by DRV (at the factory) within the first year but it didn't take any time at all for it to let go again. You would think the techs would've realized there wasn't much to screw into by those rear compartment doors and done something about it right away. AND possibly "mention" to the design department and or production team that there was a slight "flaw" back there! They could "nip" a lot of their warranty work in the bud by cracking down on who ever is responsible for "quality control"!

My tech told me that they do communicate with the factory. The problem seems to be with the factory listening and implementing.

We had our 2nd punch out list done after a year. We let DRV know what our list was before the year was up. We could not do it because I had to take care of my Mother. But getting an appointment right before your year takes planning. As they schedule MONTHS out.
Just communicate with them and it should work out.

Interesting. A tech told me that they do not. As they did not want to pay them for the time it would take to have the collaborative meeting that would be needed.

Come visit during the winter months and the tractor will make more sense. Forklifts don't get around outside much here in the winter due to traction and ground clearance issues in the snow.
