My Mom is with a tour group in DC right now, and doesn't think that I'll be able to do a lot there. I can't do steps, and must use either 2 leg/knee braces with a walker, or my scooter; and even with that, walking any distance is impossible. According to Mom, it is extremely crowded, and maneuvering a scooter would be problematic; no ramps at older monuments, and trying to get on and off of buses with my scooter would be exasperating. So, I've cancelled my reservation at Greenbelt. I've decided to go to Assateague Island from the Outer Banks for a few days, and then north towards Annapolis, to I-81 south in Virginia. I need to check my route for the restrictions that you posted.
