I see no reason at all to make such a call. Why even put it on their radar?

My water is metered coming into the house. For every gallon I BUY, I also PAY an additional fee to sewer it....so for every gallon I'm dumping the utility isn't getting their money.... well that's not totally true since the majority of my fresh water I load to the RV comes from my house....but still, you get the idea...

Also, I'd imagine that huge onslaught of waste might overwhelm the works in some older neighborhoods that can barely handle their normal small flow from each house on the system as it is....
A typical RV is going to dump about 70 gallons of waste...about the same as a bath and a load in the washer... don't think it'll over load the system..if it does, then I hope everyone on that system doesn't go out an eat Mexican at the same time..

perhaps. That seems like a big bathtub filled to the rim, but ok. Good point

Big difference though, is from the RV that slug of waste is hitting the pipe fast, very fast....and it's clear water, where most tubs and washers would drain much more slowly

I only wrote what I did because I've lived in some older homes in the past that had sketchy main drain pluming (tree roots and old bell joint pipes) and in old communities with under capacity sewage and storm drain pipes under the roads.... It could be a reason a provider might site to oppose RV dumping.... just something to consider.

When I was looking for a place to build my Carriage House I had 3 requirements = one being a septic tank (live in the county) as I would be living in my Layton 2690TT until house was done.

For past 15 years I've had "the pleasure" of trailering friends stopping by for a visit and to use my personal dump. Oh yeah, I have a dedicated 30A outet out here too so they stay a little while.

Not enough waste to worry about. Just do it. Nice to have that kind of set up
Happy camping
