Angry Thor voided Ford warranty

We have a quantum RS26 the airbag light came on the dealership said we would have to take it to ford. So my husband took it in they called today and said Thor had put in there bucket seats and pinched the wires and because of that they voided the ford warranty on fixing the airbag light. Have to call Thor tomorrow. Very frustrated

Ouch!
Please let us know how Thor addresses this; good luck!

Voiding a warranty sounds a bit harsh. Ford can fix it and you have to pay for it because its not covered, or they can fix it under warranty.

Or Thor could agree to pay for it...
Typical when you have multiple warranties - to have to work between companies. Not just Ford and Thor - but every appliance has its own as well.

Didn't see what year your rig was - so don't know if your Thor warranty is expired or not (Thor is one year - Ford chassis is 3/36).

Unless you get to a point where no one will pay, just keep pressing.

This seems pretty clear cut. Forward the report to Thor from the Ford store. Having worked for Ford in the past, this is more common than you think.

So our quantum is a 2017 still under the Thor warranty. We also found out from the ford dealer that Thor cut the chassis so that warranty is also voided.

Had issues in the past with my 2016 thor chateau 31w. As it was explained to me, Thor orders the vehicles or frames, then they go to a company called Morryde who extends the frames, and when completed they get shipped to thor.

Now in my case, when I called Morryde they were very helpful. I took my RV to a truck place and Morryde and the truck place emailed all changes and paid the bill directly (about 4k).

MORryde International, RV Suspensions, TV Mounts, Sliding Trays

Again quite typical that Thor extends the chassis... Ford doesn't make the F53 (or other platforms) in every wheelbase that Thor uses.
Actually chassis extension work is done by MORryde MORryde International, RV Suspensions, TV Mounts, Sliding Trays - and they would be the ones to warranty that work.
