Traveling to Florida not in our MH

We were planning on leaving on 2/20 to Ft Myers from Mpls in our 4 wheeler (Nissan), but due to the weather/snow predictions, we are delaying until 2/21. 6-9” predicted in most of MN/Iowa. We don’t have route planned out yet because of winter storm Pita. We are watching weather channel to keep tabs on weather and how that will influence our route. Either way, we will be driving through snow and a lot of rain when we get further south,,,<sigh> On the upside, we will be in Florida for a month 😎.

JJ

If you are going through Tennessee, beware of heavy rains, and drive safely.

We have been keeping an eye on the rain situation too.

Thanks

I have a Axis 27.7 and am looking for any info on driving it in the snow. Anyone driven one in the winter to the south?

I’ve driven in flurries but never in standing snow. I expect you’ll be fine if you take it easy and give it up if there’s more than a few inches. With the MH you can ALWAYS wait it out! We’ll be heading to Florida in mid January and will time our departure around the weather reports.
