So if they are out there listening.... Please bring back your experience and knowledge.. Judge,(selfishly) I sure do want to hear all about Alaska and how the magnitude held up and how Alaska was to visit..
This right here!! I have found both Duck and Judge comments/posts to be very helpful!

So sorry , I'm new to the group. Originally when and before I joined there was no animosity towards judge. He was/is my Obie wan!!! I'm new to rv'ing. I took what judge and others who own the same or similar models to what I bought as this is what you can expect. By no means did I feel that I could express my gratitude to all who gave me the expectation of what I bought. Remembering I've owned a class a as my first RV and now own IMHO an awesome super c. My class a I've owned for less than 4 months before I sold it for my Omni. Not saying you're trying to disprove me but I did read all of the posts I could that judge was involved in. My final decision was just that!!!! Mine. But learning from this site and being somewhat "capable" of doing my own repairs gave me a glimpse of enjoying RV life. I wouldn't trade it for anything!!! The information Ive abtained in this group is priceless to me. I've been instructed to look under my unit for loose wiring that is impossible for me to phathom... All the info I've received whether I've posted or not has convinced me to buy what I did. I'm by no means trying to say that judge was my only reason. It's everyone on here that swayed me. I just remember reasoning a lot of judges posts and replies to others in my purchase. I love having this forum to "fall back on" for future problems that may arise. If I'm wrong for thinking the way I do I apologize. I thought that's what this forum does for our owners. Especially newbies like me.

A couple of you just aren't getting it.
No one has disdain for Judge.
He's on vacation and hopefully too busy having fun to come here and try to wring some semblance of cohesive thought from some 1 time only poster who's entire op is:
'My sink doesn't work'

Because he does this.
He treats all the same which leads them to think they're the same.
Some are not.

I left because
That op should grow the hell up and quit being the
lowest common denominator.

That's 'll this thread is about.
My injection into this was simply as a quasi-apology/acknowledgement to Judge.

I'm not going to stop asking for improved input.
He's not going to quit coddling.

If he coddles them through 9 questions in hopes of us knowing if they even yet OWN an RV, I'll take photos for them or even go rescue them if they're in my area.

That's all this thread is
A guess as to why he's left here.

Talked to Judge. All is good with him and the family. Alaska was good but he had a couple non motorhome issues to deal with.

He hasnt posted because he got tired of some of the bs that goes on in the site. And the site doesnt work on the tap a talk app anymore. I understand this as that was how I always looked at and posted on the site.

There have been other knowledgeable folks who, for one reason or another, have stopped posting on this forum with regularity.
Maybe they are moving on doing their thing, maybe their ego got in the way. Maybe they left the RV lifestyle. At least their topics are archived so we can look up answers to some of our problematic symptoms we may be experiencing.

But I get it, some folks treat this forum like a social media platform, and that's okay with me. Just my opinion, have a nice day all!

I'm just glad I got to have some interaction with some of them. Pick their brains and help solve some of the dilemmas I have had. Kind of like an apprentice/mentor type conversations.

Life goes on for me, and if I read a topic I can share my knowledge, or experiences to help others, I do.
No offense, but I'm not here looking for friends, even if one develops.

This is the best, down to earth RV forum on the internet. Moderators are smart enough to let things be real...tons of knowledgeable people on very specific topics...electrical especially. I would say that smarter people buy Thors...but the tears from laughing at that one makes my eyes blurry. When we hit the trail this spring for the Wild, Wild West tour I found myself disengaged from this forum unless I had an issue and needed help. Everybody comes and goes. I can name about 10 people I know are still here but just not as active as usual.

I think you're right about activity. I wanted to spend more time reading posts here but unfortunately life got in the way. Soon as winter sets in and holiday stuff is done we'll all be sharing our RV adventures and mishaps of '23. Maybe the judge will find time to say hey then. He is missed for sure.

I think the problems on this Forum are the false posts. You know the one's that look like whoever posted it has no business owning an RV and asks questions framed in a way as to encourage discourse to make the Forum appear busier than normal. We have all seen them. I don't know what Judges problem is other than it's apparently his problem. Do miss his comments but I also miss my buddy Bob's posts. We had some great levity battles in here and I miss that and him.

Sometimes we need to stick it out and there will be more new friends and more help and laughter on another day.

I would rather drive without wipers than get out and walk the next 100 miles.
