Windshield sun reflector

Has anyone purchased a internal sun reflector for a Gemini. It is on a Ford Transit chassis. I assume the windshield was not altered when the rv was added. I found one online that fits a Transit both the windshield and two side windows, but it looks a little off to me. If you have found, one please let know. Mine is a 2017 rv sitting on a 2016 chassis. Thanks in advance

I just added reflective insulation to the Windshield, and side windows of my 2017 Thor CHALLENGER 37 TB.
I bought a roll of the reflective insulation at Lowe's, cut it to fit, used self adhesive 1" Velcro squares in each corner to secure it to the wall . Finished install a couple of hours ago, can already tell it's cooler.

Watch out for the Velcro, ours started to melt the adhesive and peel off from the heat. We eventually went with hooks and short bungee cords to hold the Reflectix in place.

You are far better off putting an outside cover on to keep the heat out than using anything on the inside.

Something like this guy:

Why ? Can't quite reach the windshield/windows of our Challenger without crawling up a ladder.

Because if you prevent the sunlight from getting in it has no chance of heating up the windshield. With the foil on the inside the light goes through the windshield twice (and heats up the areas around the reflective foil). That glass does get warm.

By putting the cover on the outside only the cover gets slightly warm. We have a Sunguard cover for our windshield and it makes a much bigger difference than when I use the foil (I use the inside foil when I store the coach so I don't have the Sunguard cover on all the time).

For a taller coach like your Challenger you might want to look into a Magneshade: https://magneshade.com/

Magnashade like Jamie mentioned. We have one and love it!!! Not cheap but super easy to put on and take off. Go to YouTube and watch video on how easy Magnashade is to use!

We use the Magna Shade on the windshield and the driver and passenger side windows. It is very easy and you don't need a ladder to put up. It really helps block the heat. We can sit in the front in the afternoon with the sun in front of us and it is still comfortable.

Thanks for all the suggestions and input. I will check out your recommendations. The simple curtain supplied by Thor is useless for the heat issue.

We use the big silver folding sunshield similar to the ones for cars, available at the big camping stores and online. We prop it up between the windshield and the power curtain. It helps a lot. This one just fits our huge early 2016 Vegas windshield, but they can be cut down for smaller windshields.

No, not nearly as good as the Magna Shield described above, but I chose to spend those $$ elsewhere. I readily admit to being cheap!
