Max length RV at Corp of Engineers CG

When on the recreation.gov website, we noticed it states max length of RV is 30’?

Any 30+ ever had a problem ?!

We often stay at the Corp campground at Redrock Park in Iowa with our 36' Miramar with no problems. This may vary by particular campground.

Have you tried finding info for a particular COE CG online? Try this:

• Go to www.allstays.com. Select Camping
• Select State where you want to go camping
• Next to the list of Cities pick “Map (State) Public Lands.
• Select “Army Corps” from list of Public Lands in the State.
• A state map will come up with an “AC” in a red dot.
• Lay your marker on a particular campsite and a screen will appear with basic info about the CG with option to select “Full Details”.

Have great summer of camping.

The Corps parks where we have stayed were plenty long for a 40 footer. State parks now, that's a different story. Surprising how many sites are too short for our little Vegas!

After camping in a Corp campground last week, it became apparent, the max length of RV allowed on a site is inaccurate. We stayed on a site that was listed as 25’ max... when in reality 75’ was flat and level..

I just got back from a COE park yesterday. We have a 35' motorhome and had no problem fitting. I also have more reservations for later this year and the res vations inquires the size of the RV. I entered 35' each time and the reservations were confirmed. I thought i read that the limit was 40'.
