2016 Vegas 25.2 TV reception
Of the 3 TVs only 2 (living area & outside) seem to utilize the factory installed antenna, receiving the same channels. The 1 in the bedroom receives different channels and not as good of reception or availability.
So I want to remove it, any tips? TY

All 3 TVs use the same antenna. You may have coax wiring problems. And of course, all 3 TVs need to scan for channels at any new location.

If some TVs work fine on the terrestrial antenna and some don't, you either have a loose connection at the coax splitter, a bad coax cable from the splitter to the TV or a bad coax connection at the TV.

All three are the same..no exceptions.
Either using the onboard antenna or external.
No difference.
Sth on the coach I guess my home tv, when hooked up internally in the coach, has the same problem.
If I run the external tv coax in and hook to the original TV's, they work fine.
All connections are good. I don't know where to look.

From the beginning - to use the terrestrial antenna in the coach the antenna power switch must be in and the green LED light on the switch plate ON. If you are using a cable connection, the antenna power switch should be OFF On the antenna switch plate there is a male coax connector. If you have an external antenna handy you can connect it there and with the antenna power switch off, see if any on the TVs can pick up signals. All 3 TVs should get the same channels. If you still have a problem the the splitter is not working properly. Pull it out of the interior passage and tighten the connectors. If it still doesn't work properly, try your portable antenna on any TV and see if a channel search works. I am trying to give you a systemic way to find where you are loosing the connection. It seems the antenna is not supplying any signals to any TV via the coax.

What Jim said. On my 2016 25.2, the splitter is behind the microwave. Draft a friend to help you pull it out and replace it. Remove a few screws in the microwave and it slide it out so you can unplug it for full removal. All the connections on my splitter were loose. I bet yours are, too!

I think Thor leaves these issues so the owner will become familiar with their coach.
The splitter behind the MW was where my problem was.
Good luck with yours.

While you are looking at your splitter, I would go and get a better quality splitter. When messing with my TV's I traded out the old for a top quality gold splitter. I think it made a littler difference.

Ask any cable installer and they'll tell you the "gold" splitters are inferior to the quality silver colored splitters.

Quite an old post but anyways, is the male coax fitting on the white plate used as an input from a receiver for a dish if you were so inclined?

No, it is the cable connection for the TV that is normally in front of the plate. Your layout may not be designed that way but that's the way all RVs were designed a couple of decades ago. Many even had a 12 VDC cigarette lighter type receptacle for a DC powered TV.

Numerous types. Some have a green LED, some have a red LED, some have NO LED, some have coax attached, some don't...

Is it a 32" TV? If so, the TV is bad. You should sell it to me!!
...J/K, but I would buy it if it still works for a fair price!
