Thumbs up Both Rear dual tires Ruined

Not exactly sure what happened, but somehow some road debris or an object got wedged between the rear dual tires. Actually cut into the inner sidewalls and messed up my valve extenders. Luckily didn't blow out on me while on the road, but blew out while in the service bay at the dealership! I was getting some other service work done, and told them to air up my tires to 80 psi. Well they got them aired up and within 5 min. BOOM. Luckily I had purchased an extended tire warranty so I just got $800.00 in new tires covered by the warranty.

Wow, you had a bad thing turn into good fortune with blowouts at the dealer instead of side of road or worse; on an interstate at hwy speed. And, the icing on the cake was that the warranty covered it.
You would't happen to be Irish would you?

It is surprising that both tires were damaged enough to blow out at the same time. Sometimes rocks get jammed between the duals. I think I had one get thrown out into the fender well the other day. Sounded like a bullet hit the side of the motor home.

Only one tire blew out, the other one had a huge gouge in the inner sidewall, so I didn't trust it to last. Have an extended warranty for 7 years on tires damaged due to road hazard through "Tire Shield"
