That 3M stuff will stick ice to the Devil!! I buy rolls of it from NAPA and use it for lots of things. I actually used it to reapply the "Monet" artwork to the wall as you enter the coach. Make sure you want whatever you use it on to be there forever! Black double sided with red backing.

ours fell out yesterday in our '18 Miramar 35.2 as well. hmmm...I hadn't thought about leaving it off. I guess we'll ponder that before we take it to the factory in a couple of weeks.

Wow! common problem. I thought it was just our rig. Same exact thing happened last week during our 100 degree weather. G-daughter noticed the frosted window barely hanging onto the screen door. I was surprised at this: I went to reposition the window on the adhesive strip to see if it would re-attach. Good thing I got it centered because it wouldn't budge after it was re-seated. Not to take a chance, I installed a small black plastic "L" bracket top and bottom using a single screw in each. Can't go anywhere now.

I Agree.... but Must be 3M BRAND! Not a cheaper brand. Always clean surface with rubbing alcohol. I left 4 Cedar Point 0n the 8th, Now @ The Western Southern Open in Cincinnati. Before I left I ran a bead of silicone glue around the door window just 4 kicks....Thanks 4 the Warning Bob!

We've got too much rain in our forecasts, to start trying to make things stick together.
When we have a 48 hour window: we'll tackle this one.

Mine fell off yesterday also. Tried putting back hoping it would stick but came off again. Put it away until we get back home. I have s 2017 Miramar 35.2.
Also had pipe bust for water return from sink. Started pouring out the passenger side slider onto the ground. Luckily my son was outside and saw it.

If you had just waited a little bit longer: I bet that Thor's foam tape would have "worked some magic" for you...

We finally got to a day when I could tackle this project:
Does anybody have a suggestion, for something to remove that stuff that originally held the window in place?
For not sticking: it sticks like Hell... I even went to Turpentine, and it wouldn't cut it.

warm up with a hair dryer and use a straight edge razor.
Goo gone or the similar brand claim they work.
If it is on that well.. I would use 3M automotive tape go right over it to hold the window in place then use a tube of black silicone glue around the window.

What would you use to re-attach it?
(Something that might last a bit longer would be useful...)
Thanks!

Same thing happened to our Hurricane glass, fortunately I caught it.

That's about what mine looked like; but 98% of the "goopy stuff", was still latched onto the outer window frame...

Goo-Be-Gone and a hairdryer: I'll give that a try... Thanks!

I would... but The Missus gets nervous about that sort of tactic...

UPDATE: After talking her into allowing me to try some gasoline as a solvent (No mean feat!): we added the tape, and stuck the window back into place.

So far: so good!

But we're also never going to slam that door!

There's been more than a couple of times, that she's been tempted to toss a lit match into our rig...

I owned a detail shop for a while to go with my wholesale business . When other products do not work the boys all ways used gas to remove the sticky glue. All so WD 40 will work on most glue from decals
