I'm currently fighting the Advance Trac and ABS error that also disables Hill Start Assist and the Cruise Control. I've found many complaints of the issue on other forums and my initial searches are finding it here, too. For anyone/everyone that has experienced the same issue you should consider reporting the issue to the NTSB. The loss of ABS and Traction Control IS a substantial safety risk. One way to raise visibility and possible force Ford to find a real solution is through the NTSB.
Report it by your motorhome make and model, but also report it by your chassis type--in my case a 2022 Ford F53. If you only want to do one report, do it by your chassis type. For your vehicle type, after entering your VIN, you should select Ford F53/F350/F450 rather than your motorhome model. Also, be sure to use the chassis year, the chassis is probably not the same year as your coach.
That's the only way that a problem occurring across multiple brands will be aggregated to show there is an actual problem. If we all report based on the chassis year and model then enough data will accumulate to be significant. If reported by motorhome year and model then the NTSB will not aggregate by the chassis type and may not identify the problem as significant. If everyone that has the unresolved problem reports the issue than maybe we can finally get it solved. Be sure to include how long and how many repair attempts have been made in the narrative. Also, if a recall can be forced, then people who are out of warranty will have recourse for a repair. Thanks!
