Vegas 25.2 Furnace question

Did I just figure out why my furnace quits?
While I was watching my house battery discharge I decided to try and use some juice by running my furnace. In the past, I had had some problems with the heat going out after a few minutes. This was a pain but I found that just by switching the thermostat to off and then back on, it would restart. To day I took the cover off and found that when it quit, it was flashing 1:3 (Airflow). Then the lightbulb in my head came on: The bedroom door in a 25.2 blocks the bedroom heater vent when open. We pretty much haven't been closing it because its just the two of us and our dog's favorite sleeping spot is in the doorway. I opened the door and it came back on!!!
Could this have cause enough air back-pressure to cause the fault?
