Silver Lake is our favorite CG in the area, but the sites we like (not right against Rush Creek) were all taken for the days in August when we go. Instead, we're going to be over at Oh Ridge CG by June Lake. Been there before and it's not too bad -- just not as nice as Silver Lake CG.
This will be the first time boondocking with the 29M. All of our other trips so far have had hookups. We always enjoy the more primitive campgrounds.
Now you and Lance have me thinking about the Kernville area. Not sure I've ever been there.
