Sue...you can install an inverter that will allow your TV(s) to work with no shore power. Lots here do this and it isn't too complicated of a task. You viewing time would be limited without running the truck engine, depending on how much power your TV draws, but it could be done. It would also allow you to watch movies when traveling along without having to run the generator.
