Nice pictures.
For us, that's a must. Extra size is nice but I would rather sacrifice room than access to where I want to go. And while I haven't depended on a toad, I'm pretty sure it's not for me. I want access to my stuff (food, bathroom, clothing, etc.) where I'm parked, not 10 miles away in a campground. Granted there is a happy medium because you can only take so much stuff with you in a Class B. That's why the Axis in lieu of a 24-ft van interests me.
On a related topic: I was just at a local RV show on Friday that was put on by 5 or 6 area dealers. I got to look at an Axis and a Vegas again, but also the FR-3 I had not seen. What that unit did was highlight for me that there is such a thing as too much openness.
For a small motorhome, it's the most open I have ever felt. That's a big plus, and a big minus. The problem is that it's all one big room. There is no separation -- no place to go hide if you want some alone time. For a quick visit in the showroom it seems great, but I'm not sure that after a week I would feel the same way about all that common space.
