Not For Me

My neighbor has a roaring heater at night and that's part of the question.
Their heater ignites, runs for about a minute or 2 and shuts down.

I'm thinking over limit switch. Should I say something or am I overstepping my bounds? They seem like nice people.

Why not mention it they may not realize they have a potential issue.

Wow! How close to you are they? It's probably just me; but I'd let it go. This isn't nearly like barking dogs, noisy kids, or loud music. They're just trying to keep warm...

EDIT: I've been thinking about this a little bit more...
How about speaking to your neighbor, and asking them to assist you in putting up a small section of wall to attenuate the sound? A sold surface would direct the noise away from you, and they could put some sound absorbing material on their side also...

How do you know it's their heater? Sounds like the water heater might just be bumping the tank temperature back up.

my furnace was doing the same thing. Runs for a minute or so and comes on again few minutes later. Over and over. In my unit the problem was a heat register right below the thermostat. The thermostat would reach temp while the rest of the motorhome would be cold.I closed off that register adjusted the flow on some others. More even heat now. Does not cycle on and off so quickly now.
