Do I understand David that you have to remove your mattress and a wood pieces underneath your bed in order to turn a value to drain the fresh water tank. We’ve had 8 units snd there was always one outside.

It looks like you created a new thread to post your response. Best to stick with your original thread so you can follow it easier. Also switching subforums makes it really confusing. I understand that you have a Class C Chateau, not a trailer.

But to answer your question, trailers often have valves underneath the tank because the tank sits below the trailer's floor. MHs usually install the tank sitting on the floor inside, so the valve is above the floor.

Yes on mine, I have to fold the mattress up, remove a few screws and pull out a piece of plywood to get to the tank and plumbing.
