Carbon monoxide propane gas detector

Our CO/Propane gas detector on 2015 Thor axis beeps every 40 seconds, lights flashing. It is hard wired, tried holding reset button down 10 seconds, shut off power to it, still beeps. Does it need replaced?

Possibly. Have you verified your house battery voltage is above 12.0 VDC?

It should have back up batteries

Change them

If that don't stop the chirp then the unit must be changed out

LP-gas detectors have a five-to-seven-year lifespan. I would replace it.

It runs off of the house batteries 12 VDC, no backup batteries.

Should be replaced after 5 years.

As stated above the propane/carbon monoxide alarm is beeping in my 2017 Thor Axis ! Alarm beeps every 30 sec!
Propane tank is 1/2 full! What should I do?
