Well sometimes I dont think they have a choice on location.... esp in small RV floor plans.

But they could be lazy or taking the cheaper way out too!

There are weight/balance considerations too, as if you have a full wall slide they can't put all the black/grey in the back corner behind the axle.

My issue is the door opens down so its in the way when trying to connect the slinky up through the pass through. Sure wish is was hinged sideways.

If the door is square it'll come out easily and flip to side hinge.
If it's not square it'll flip upside down.
It's four to eight self tapping screws (maybe)
