Rear Window

Just returned from trip last night. When we looked at our rv today we noticed one of the rear windows shattered. Not sure what happened to it. Anybody have this happen before and if you did, how did you fix it?

Had a window by couch come our on mine, Had to buy a replacement. To cover while waiting, I used plastic carpet protector over the window and taped the protector with painters tape. Do not use duct tape on the painted surface as it can mess the paint up.

Thinking about getting plexiglass and screwing it to existing window frame. Whole window has to be replaced.

Which window is it? Mine was by the couch, the emergency exit, and the bottom piece broke out. The whole window had to be replaced.

Any tempered glass can explode for no reason anytime!!!

I had my 1/2 bath window shatter in May for no unknown reason. I called Thor and ordered the replacement window to the tune of $1,900. It I was told would take 8-10 weeks to arrived. When it arrived the new window was in a thousand pieces and I had to take photos send them in and a second window was sent. This window was packaged much better and I installed it yesterday no problem and nice to have light and fresh air coming in!

Window shipped yesterday! 495 for the whole rear window, 166 for shipping.
