Hi, would you please tell me a bit about your 10" rear view safety monitor and how it works for you on your Vegas. I have a 2016 25.2 Axis. I am a solo driver and anything that can help me with backing up would be useful. Thanks

I bought the monitor direct from their site and mounted it low on the front of the dash directly right of the gauges. I removed all cameras connections from the radio as I no longer use that screen for that purpose. I connected the rear view and both mirror cameras to the new monitor and only the rear camera trigger. I do not want to lose the toad view when the turn signal is on as I have mirrors for that. While driving down the road, I can see the toad and both sides of the rv. When backing it's just out the back. Absolutely love it when in traffic or a tight campground. Others on this site have done the very same mod before me and that is where I got the idea. Thanks again to all those on this site that have given us all these great ideas and direction.
Chris

Trying again just to post a photo of our campsite at Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds. It's a great place with roomy well spaced sites and plenty nearby activities.

Nice site and rig. It doesn't get any better than that with all those HU's and roomy sites. I'll note that area down on my list.
Thanks

On our way from Dallas to upstate NY in our '17 Axis 24.1. Nice quiet place to spend the night just north of Louisville, KY. The Axis is performing great on our first long distance trip! (Knock on wood!)

One night stay in Bear Creek RV Park in Asheville. Nice people, ok place, terrible campsite. Yes, that is the main road with LOTS of traffic humming by [emoji31]
Just one night before Hilton Head!

I have the same system for the two slides on the other side of the coach.

I have closed the slide with the noodles in place and since the compress they do not hinder slide operation.

My wife told me she saw noodles equipped with LED lights and my response was get me three. That would help me eliminate a lighting issue that is caused by the outside light being mounted on the slide and not illuminating the stairs after dark.
Great idea using the noodles. I'll make that happen as well.

Just finished our first two-week trip in our new ACE 30.3. Went from home (Troy, IL, neat St. Louis), through Indiana to Ohio and Kentucky, and back home. Towed 2016 Kia Sorento.

Great trip. No serious issues. Intermittent "No Signal" on cameras and just before leaving, the privacy glass on the inside of main entry door fell out and shattered on driveway. Goes in for repair next week.

Obviously, haven't quite figured out the picture thingy. Did not intend to post them all two times. I'll try to get it before next attempt.

Sounds like you had a nice trip until the end. What caused the glass to fall out of the door? Was the door open at the time? I will check the glass on ours. If you have a radio / camera set up like ours, there are three cables, one for each camera, plugged into the back of the radio. It's unlikely that all cable connections are loose.

Not sure why the glass fell out. It had fallen partway out the first time we camped in it. I took it in and the dealer said it was installed backwards with the pebbled side adhered to the frame. He said that did not allow enough adhesive contact with the frame for it to stay attached. He cleaned all the adhesive material and the frame, reinstalled the glass correctly with a stronger adhesive, and said that should fix it. We hadn't driven the motor home since until we got ready for this trip. My wife was inside the unit sweeping the floor in prep for the trip, with the door open and the screen closed. I came out to help and when I opened the screen door, the glass fell from the door, hit the driveway, and shattered.

All three cables are plugged into a control box behind the radio. The just one cable into back of radio. When I first got mine the two sides were backwards. I fixed that but then after a while I disconnected the side view cameras anyway. I didn't like the screen flashing in the dark every time I switched lanes on the highway. I also didn't like that when you got off the highway sitting at stop with the turn signal on you couldn't adjust the radio because the camera is on. Plus as a driver of a Freightliner I am used to looking in the mirrors anyway. The mirrors on the MH are about three times the size than the little 6" screen which is to small to really see anything.
