Getting Home

Does anyone else who has been on the road for a few weeks come home and feel like their house is a huge mansion?

I also feel sad when I have to clean the MH up and put it away for a while.

It is a great feeling. Like being recharged by your house. It goes away quickly though. We just spent 8 days / 7 nights on the road, six of us. House felt HUGE when we got home.

We have been on the road for as long as six months. The first night back home I always seem to wake up in the middle of the night and wonder where I am. Then it hits me, oh, back home.

Mainly feel that way with the bed and especially the shower. But also when at home in the morning the view is the same as the previous day. Between my house, GF's, our 5th wheel at the FL bayou and the motorhome/RV we travel with, I have been known to get confused which way to turn when getting out of bed in the middle of the night.
