It's finally home!

It took a bit longer than planned; but we finally got our Wayfarer home, and are getting it ready for the Memorial Day trip!
There was an issue with the shipment of recall parts. Tiffin said the Dealership got them... The Dealership didn't know "nuthin' about them..."
But all is as it should be, and we are finally able to get excited about this coming Season!
Three trips planned:
Memorial Day weekend to Lake geroge
Mid-July to the Finger Lakes region
mid-October: Wilderness Campgrounds at WDW.

It's still not a lot of use: but I AM still somewhat gainfully employed...

We've been there many times; but this'll be our first trip there with the RV.

Hi Bob

I have just a couple of issues that is beyond my skill level to resolve. The furnace is the main issue not working properly and an issue with the left turn signal camera sometimes working and sometimes staying on after the turn. Might be just a connection issue inside the dash. We have gone on two weekend trips and everything else is working great. I am having the Safety Plus steering stabilizer installed when it goes in later this month to the dealership. I am looking at flat towing with the new coach. I sold my tow dolley. Looking at the Blue Ox system with a brake buddy.
I have been doing a few modifications getting it ready for our cross country trip the summer of 2023.

Paul

We are from Upstate and live in FL. We are making trip up to the Adirondacks in June leaving from Central FL. What route are you taking to get here? We plan on 95 to 17 (near Richmond) to 66 to 81 then up to near Watertown to exit.

Best of luck on your trip. Our trip north will be our first big trip in our new rig. WDW is awesome for camping. Rent a Golf Cart if you are staying for a while.

We just came back from WDW for April vacation. Definitely a nice camp ground kinda hard to beat. Definitely rent a golf cart if you can. They book out 100 days in advance down there. Crazy thing is its more to rent that than a real car. We had a car rental as we wanted to go and get around Disney. If your staying only at the campground best to get a cart

Bob, glad to hear the baby is back in the crib! Enjoy the trips. NYS can be amazing in the summer and fall seasons and so much to see even for those of us who live in the land of taxes!

We used Disney busses, boats, monorail

Never needed a car staying on property

Sorry to hear about your employment (cause retirement is awesome!) but happy you’ll be getting out soon. New York is a beautiful state. Have a fabulous summer, Bob.

What are your favorite attractions?

I have several and the better restaurant's are one of the top

Haunted Mansion, Soaring over Ca, Mother Earth Ship, Pirates of the Caribbean, coasters, and the list goes on. Tree of life and Bugs Life Show was pretty cool the first 5 times and still good

Yeti is pretty cool for one of the newer ones

Enjoy the trip

We usually hit Universal for two or three days as well

Downtown Disney is worth it if you haven't been. We take the boat down and bus back.
