Lack of driver and passenger front doors?

We are looking at a used Thor Axis or Vegas model, 24' or 25'. I noticed in my search that these do not have driver and passenger front doors. Was just wondering how much of an inconvenience this is to owners. Also, is there any significant difference between an Axis or Vegas model? Thanks.

you might 'think' you'd want doors, but HOW would you then climb up thru them?? more steps?? You already have a door, why do we need more... you'll notice that only very 'old' motorhomes have doors - there's a reason why they don't anymore.

I agree with the sentiments expressed above. I get along fine with the single aft driver's side door on my new Axis.

The only difference between an Axis and a Vegas is the front panel- the position of the lights and the front hood.

Thor does this for the same reasons Chevy and Buick did: To give separate dealers in the same city "different" coaches to sell.

FWIW when I bought my Axis late last year the Vegas dealer who was within 25 miles of the Axis dealer wanted almost $15,000 more for essentially the same coach- the Buick premium I suppose.
