lubricating rubber seals around compartments and slide

I bought some rubber seal lubricating spray and went around and sprayed the rubber round all the compartments; and the vertical and lower horizonal rubber on the slide.
Anyone have any tricks in how to lube the upper horizonal rubber on the slide? The retractable awning prevents easy access.

I put a rag on a stick.
I sprayed the rag.

What lube did you use?
I have some from cw that I love but I'll try hours if you really like it.

I sprayed it on a rubber bellows that has sat in the sun since 1970 and it loosened it up from dead-hard(not perfect, but notable) overnight.

Nothing works better than 303 Rubber Seal & Conditioner. Cheaper by the gallon.

Here's picture of the stuff I found.
https://www.thorforums.com/forums/sh...&postcount=837

We've used 303 since there was a 303 and this stuff is better-ish.
Foams and fills nicely.
It's just a spray can from some rv supply company. It had the slightest hint of
Oil of wintergreen
Smell.

We'll not be getting rid of the 303 for everything else and I'm only two tries into proving this spray stuff but it sure is nice upon initial tries.

Oil of wintergreen, a chemical concoction made with aspirin and acid(not to be confused with hippy-ish wintergreen oil, an aromatic plant oil) is the rubber fixxer deeelux.

Beau,
Are our seals rubber or vinyl?

I second the 303 by the gallon... AND Duck's "rag on a stick" method. I actually use a garage broom handle. I used the 303 on anything rubber - window and slide seals, and storage compartment seals.

I bought 3-IN-ONE by RVcare which is a Rubber Seal & Conditioner from Amazon. It contains a UV inhibitor which help prevent cracking and fading. I did some research, and it was highly rated.
It was number #1 with 303 coming in #3 from Conch House.

I would think you can't go wrong with either.

Lubricant

Can someone post a picture or the link to proper 303 product please. I am seeing sevevral products but nothing specifically for Rubber Seal and Lubricant in a gallon container. I see the one that looks like a roll-on deodorant, but thats it.

All you need to do is Google it. "303 rubber 1-gallon"

After thinking about this...I have an idea on how to lubricate the horizonal rubber on the slide-out that I thought I'd share.
The thing I like about the RVCare "3-in-One" spray is that it has a flexible head on the can (like many cans of WD-40) that allows you to either have a wide-angle spray or a stream that shoots pretty far. I can use the stream spray on the horizonal rubber and then use the pole with the rag on the end to wipe the rubber.

I bring the slide in and apply from the inside
Ladder for the higher areas outside
Rag on stick as needed

Aerospace 303 Protectant by the gallon also

Check prices, it varies
