Might I suggest, if any of you haven't, using a valve stem cap/tool, tighten the inner core of all your tires. Very often forgotten necessity!

Valve stem valve tightening tool on the end of a pass through tpms on the end of a braided flexible extension.

Just floppin' around.

And those just flip flop around while driving? Not for me!

Physics says what?
By the time I'm doing 5 mph it's stuck like glue.

I think this 35,000 mile example kinda sorta negates the minutia some here are trying to employ....

Maybe the pictured is not right, but it sure erases some of the labratory induced garbage that's been said.

Laboratory induced garbage. I love it. I can now expand my vocabulary to include this phrase.

Already many differing views, so may I add mine?

Go to a tire center that services farm tires as well as larger trucks. They should be able to install longer one piece metal valve stems. The type you need to remove the tire from the wheel and install it. This will give the best available service and allow tire pressure monitors to be installed without the worry of flopping around.

They should have or can order in valve stems that are bent to shape and make the inner tire easily be reached for air checks. Costs a little more, but well worth it.

I use braided valve extenders. First set took about four years to start to leak. I have a TPMS and watch the pressure. I inspect them closely several times a year. I found a leak when one of the braided extensions was moved. Outwardly the extension looked good. The rubber inside the braid deteriorated. They are cheep. So now I replace them at two year intervals and do not worry about it. Two years buys lots if margin to failure. I may have had an early failure that most do not, but they are cheep.

I agree that the dually valve system is not cheap. I was thinking about buying them for couple of years. Those braided extension were not working on my coach at all. Valves were leaking air, the bracket/clamps for dually were getting loose quite often, putting air in was a chore and after installing Tire Minder TPMS system I was getting all kind of error messages, inaccurate psi readings, while driving or would not get any readings from TPMS. Since the tires were previously purchased at America's Tires they only charged me $40 for installing new, dually valve system on 6 tires. And those rubber inserts are great. Not easy to install but they hold the valve right in the center of the valve opening. No more false PSI readings, TPMS works finally as designed, no more error messages, putting the air in is quick and easy again. But most important to me is peace of mind.

If you think about it, all components can fail, but generally there is a reason why? i.e. I had one known failure with a braided extension and it was NOT because of leaking air; rather the valve was not always functioning which made adding air difficult. Discount Tire can repair a valve $20 or replace. Since my braided valve was still under warranty it was replaced by Mfg and put on by Dealer when performing some other warranty work.

Then of course I would later replace one of my own as mentioned above. Braided valves don't worry me. But what is starting to worry me that I never read about are the O rings that come on the TPMS sensors.

I had a tire that my TPMS was telling me was habitually leaking air. I never could find a leak. I was about to take to Discount Tire when I decided to remove the TPMS sensor and give a few weeks. 3 weeks later tire at same temperature was still 82 PSI, so I tried to replace the O ring in the sensor with an older spare sensor and it got worse. So I have taken the sensor off in favor of standard valve cap and have had no issues. Makes me wonder is have the TPMS really effective versus just check air before trips. I admit that my current sensors are a few years old, I was worried about the batteries, not the O rings. I don't know if you can buy new replacement O rings to help it seal?

Also FWIW, if braided valves are flopping they might be too long or you need better mounting bracket. I thought 7" extensions would be too short but they fit perfect. With that said it is harder to add air to braided extension compare to the steel valve for the 4 other tires, but the need to add air is rare (except for the tire that had a faulty O ring in sensor)

Say Duckie, do you have a braided extension on the Outside Duallie tire?

I have those Steel 45 degree extensions in one of your pictures above of a kit on what to buy on both outside tires and the Steel 135 degree extensions. l on the front. My braided extension are only on my 2 inside duallies.

Yes, you can buy O rings online. Tire Minder has a battery replacement program where for $5.00 they will send you set of 6 new batteries and the O rings are included. Can't beat that

As long as we're on the subject(sorta)

I carry these because there is no reason NOT to carry these.
(I just bought the listed 'used' ones for 1/2 price.)

These will work great in an emergency situation unless you have metal valve stems like I do. This would have been great when I had a class C. Seems to be a handy thing to carry know matter what. Being a good neighbor to a fellow camper, it could help a feloow camper as well.

Hispec - says so right on the first picture:
https://www.hispecwheel.com/

But it doesn't matter for buying valve stem extensions.

Thanks, I think we might be talking two different types of O Rings?

I don't have Tire Minder system, but I did look at their website. I believe you may be referring to the seals for the battery? Maybe not?

I believe I need the O rings that go inside the sensor's connector to the the tire stem.

At any rate, here is more background. I have the Cheapo yeah I know China made system. Paid $50 3 years ago. Display Controller System still works fine, but I have two tires now that will slowly leak air due to sensor being on the stem ( about 2 weeks to notice a change). Both of the tires with a regular stem cap with no sensor will not leak air.

So what I was seeking is whether their is a simple way to replace the O rings inside the cheapo sensors? I have my doubts now.

Worse case, I may have to buy a brand new Cheap system and replace the entire system? $50; I am assuming the other 4 sensors have a dated remaining life before they start leaking air too?

BEFORE someone wish to lecture me on Cheapo systems, I have the RVi 3 Tire Patrol System too. I hate it, but I will use it when carrying the toad or on a very long trip. It works fine with my Command Center, but a hassle to manage the batteries. so I have to keep taking them on/off to preserve the life. When the Tire Patrol Batteries die, you have to chunk the entire freaking sensor at about $45 each

FWIW RVI who has excellent Brake System advised me that they are working on new sensors where batteries can be replaced, but I will have to buy a new system to get ( meaning I can't upgrade my existing)

Bite the bullet and get a TireMinder system.

I feel as if I have already swallowed the TPMS bullets.

My 1st RV TPMS was about $30 off ebay from that C country. I felt if it last 1 year that was better than taking a chance that a $400 system would last 10 years. It made it 2 years until I got ready to replace the batteries. I had overtighten; so I tore up a couple sensors getting the battery cover off. But they worked 2 years!!! So I bought a higher quality Cheapo for $50. It actually had newer features. It is now going on 3 years, but 2 sensors are no longer on the RV. I actually like the Cheapos when all is well because I move around all the time and NEVER a connection issue. i.e. when I add air, I have the display monitor in hand so as soon as I put sensor back on I can see the psi reading

But when I went with a Toad, I got in bed with RVi 3 Brake and their Command Center. Since I had the Command Centor all I needed was the RVi Tire Patrol Sensors which I now have 6 of them. They work too. They claim 2 years or so and then the batteries die. $16/sensor to replace. But I decided to hold off because RVi is working on a new sensor where the battery can be changed. When the 6 sensors I have now die ( I suspect that will be soon) I will shop around to buy 6 new RVi Tire Patrol sensors where batteries can be replaced. When / If I do, I will leave those Tire Patrol sensors on all the time. Right now, normally I only hook up my Command Center when I have the toad, because it shows me what is going on with RVi 3 Brake in SUV.

So for me, TireMinder is like Lithium batteries, great products for some, but I will never buy, it will have to come with my RV.

I was just trying to make sure someone didn't tell me something simple like I can walk in to a Ace Hardware and for $1; I could get 20 O's rings to fix the seal on my 2 sensors.

I had an nos, new in the box
Set if those that need the sender replaced at $45.
It was a set for a prevost with tag axle and a towed.
It had one or two signal boosters.
($2 at an auction was what I paid)

I looked for it today but it might not lived through my recent purge.
If anyone wants it, and I find it, consider it yours for a simple trade of some sorts.

The chinese cheapies are a better choice....

The guy that sold me his RVi Command Center tablet, threw in for free 6 Tire Patrol Sensors. Now I know why. I got a good deal to monitor my toad's brake.

I am gonna see if there is some way to program another sensor from my older 1st Chinese unit to my current Chinese made unit, I may also try to R&R a O ring. I sent the seller a note of my issue just to see what he says. It was 3 years ago when I purchased; so I don't expect any warranty or anything. Turns out the unit I bought is on sale for $44 today. https://www.ebay.com/itm/403984491201

Works really well
