Class C, model 22E front speakers

Hello all !

I find my 22E a little too noisy for my taste and I enjoy having some good vibes while driving. But this model has 2 speakers in the front (side) doors and 2 above the dinette.

This does not provide enough sound to have a great riding/music experience.

Would any if you have added speakers to the front cab (mine is a Ford E-350) to enhance the music experience ? I would like to avoid making major changes to the Axxera system. (Like replacing everything)

We swapped out the 2 front speakers with “kickers” and added 2 tweeters to the dash. Super improvement.
Had an audio shop do it. Now we’re rocking!

I swapped the door speakers for some quality coaxial speakers. I also replaced the stock stereo with a Pioneer AVIC unit. The sound is a whole lot better than stock, but it's still a noisy cab so hard to get good sound without it being really loud.

Better speakers almost always helps. A moving RV is a pretty dreadful environment for a first class audiophile though so I’d suggest you just let your budget decide which speakers to buy. If you’ve never done so you might take a look at Crutchfield online. Super helpful website and great people. I personally use their Scratch and Dent selection and never have been disappointed. Huge selection. I know you don’t want to go deep but I expect you won’t be happy until you add an amplifier. It’s not difficult to do and there is plenty of room behind the dash . Hope you find joy.
