Our 2021 Ommi sv34 house part is very cold when we drive it in the winter.
Do we run generator with lp heat on?

Don't have your coach but I don't think you need to run the genny while traveling to run the furnace. On most rigs the blower on the furnace runs off 12 volts

Is there anyone that rides in the back? If not just close it up with a curtain between the cab and the back to keep the cab warm while driving. Just prior to stopping, just turn on the furnace to warm up the back so it will have a chance to be warm before you go back there for the night.

You do not have to run the generator to run the heater, just turn it on and set the temp, it all runs off the coach batteries. And the coach batteries will charge off the big engine alternator while driving.

We have an AquaHot so different heat but heat is always on prior and on the road to maintain the coach temperatures.

When stopping for breaks or lunch and so on it makes it much more pleasant and adds little to the operating cost

As others mentioned almost all Coaches have 12v controlled heating systems for travel and boondocking
