Overnight freeze procedure-9 hours below32

I am in my first freeze with a 2017 31w. It will freeze tonight from approximately midnight to 9 am. I just turned on the city water for the first time in a few days after winterizing the whole system; pump, water filter, hot water, all lines for the deep freeze over the last few days. I also put a little RV antifreeze in sinks, toilet, etc.

I want to clear the lines tonight but I’m not sure if I need to go through the whole procedure for a nine hour freeze.

1. Can I close off my hot water intake, not use the hot water while it is freezing tonight, and keep the 120v heater ‘on’ without having to empty the hot water tank itself? The tank will be full.


2. I emptied the purwater filter under the bed a few days ago, before this big freeze. Do I need to empty it tonight before I use my air compressor to clear the lines?

3. Since I turned on my water today, I have water in both grey and black tanks. Can I leave that in ther with the tanks heater on or should I empty them as well? I am at a campsite without sewer so I would have to empty the dirty water into my Rhino.

What is the forecast low tonight. In the mid 20s+, I wouldn’t worry about it.
