Rain gutters on 2020 Chateau 31B

Does anyone have a idea why Thor did not put these on this model ???? Wife wants to add down spouts but there is no gutter to attach too, have to replace a metal strip on side to add them. Is this strip just decoration or will this affect my roof ?? It will effect the look of the MH ...all paint , no decals stripes. Thanks for any help.

For whatever reason Thor does not put gutters on MHs, a trailer standard.

You can buy stick-on gutters and add downspouts as we did:

Thanks for the reply. We are talking with RV Tech and he wants to install a gutter. Afraid that tape may not hold in the Texas heat. So that the cause for removal of the strip.

Mine has held in the Florida heat for over 4 years now without issue.

And OF COURSE the tech wants to install a gutter ($$$$).

Do you store yours covered ??? We have ours parked uncovered besides the house. Hoa wont allow a cover to be built and covered storage here runs 275 to 300 a month. With chances of the CC or the whole coach being stolen. Thinking the extra cost may be the best way to go...

I built a cover for ours 2 years ago but it probably spends less than 50 % of the time under it. That 3M tape is some tuff stuff if properly applied to a clean prepared surface.
