Has anyone had issues with putting taller tires on Compass? My 2021 Compass 23 TW came with 205/75R/16 tires, which are not rated as a light truck tires. I would like to put 225/75R/16, which are overall about 1.5 inches taller and rated as a light truck tire.
The Hankook tires on our 2023 Compass 23TW are E-rated. The sidewall says each tire is rated to 2,535 pounds so they have plenty of margin with respect to the Compass' GVWR.

I would think hard about doing this to a Compass.
The bottom step from the side door will be 3/4 inch higher...doesn't seem like much but, if you or yours fall, very noticeable. The final drive gearing will be affected...1st gear might not be low enough in difficult conditions and 10th gear might be too high. The higher center of gravity will increase the tendency to lean when rounding corners, when trucks pass, and in crosswinds. The speedometer and odometer will be off unless you are able to get them reprogrammed.
Have you had any problems with your current tires that the rest of us should know?
I had to replace the right outside dually, because it developed flats across and coverd the entire circumference. The original tires were Hankooks rated 113/111.
I think I will replace them with 205/75R/16 Michelins that are 10 ply.
On further review, I think you are making a good choice.
MichelinMan.com lists the Agilis CrossClimate as the only E-rated Michelin tire available in the 205/75R-16 size.
The web site says this tire meets the 3PMSF (Three Peak Mountain Snowflake) requirements which in California or Nevada means the tire qualifies as a snow tire when chains or snow tires are required on a road segment such as I-80 over Donner Summit.
Costco currently has them on sale for $188.99 each.
The only question is the tread life. While MichelinMan.com reports "Commercial Durability" and "Long Treadlife," these tires do not have a mileage warranty (which is common for 3PMSF tires). Reviewers report wildly varying tread lives.

Tread life is rarely an issue on MHs unless you have an alignment (or overload) problem, which aren't covered anyway.
Let me know MichelinMan.com or where you go has mine:

Thx

It has a load index rating of 113, load range is rarely used anymore and mostly in trailer tires. The "C" you see stands for "Commercial", in other words it's a commercial rated tire.

MichelinMan.com, the official Michelin US company web site, lists only 1 possibility in your size with a load index of 121: the Agilis CrossClimate. This site does not sell tires but refers the user to retail outlets such as Costco.
Costco has the tire for $280.99 each plus taxes and fees.

The door jam label on the Compass specifies a Load Index of 113 which equates to 2,535 pounds. The sidewall on the factory installed Hankook tires say they have a load limit of 2,535 pounds. The Michelin Agilis CrossClimate tires in size 205/75R 16 that JSkate asked about have the same limit of 2,535 pounds.
ScubaWise asked about LT225/75R 16E tires. MichelinMan.com reported that the only tire available in this size is the Agilis CrossClimate with a Load Index of 121 which equates to 3,197 pounds. Over to ScubaWise to decide if 3,197 pounds meets the requirement for his motorhome.

The piece of information you missed is that Scubawise does NOT have a Compass - he has a different model Class A MH so his tires are different.

The biggest difference will be in your distance and speed reading. It will show shorted distance traveled and lower speed as actual
