Inverter off and master switch off - still hear noise

I unplugged the coach, turned off the inverter, turned off the master switch and instead of the usual .9A self-draw.....it is doing a 1.3A draw on the Balmar with what sounds like a small fan coming from where the inverter is under the right bed.

The garage has been really hot. 105-110. Could this be a cooling fan? Or should I be concerned it's more.

Thank you!

On my Tranquility 19L I had the same situation. I called Mastervolt , and the tech said it was perfectly normal when the temperature is high. Here is the # if you decide to call. 800-307-6702. Call early to avoid the wait.

Thank you! So I take it yours subsided eventually?

It sounds like a little fan. I was just surprised being that everything was turned off. I wouldn't have thought anything was going on that needed to be cooled down.

I just looked at the manual in my owner's portal. It says there are fans, and above 104 is considered hot.

Tuscany has a computer fan controlled by a 100 degree snap disk to ventilate the inverter compartment

It will run after the inverter and house battery is shut down

Other units do also

It was the inverter fan for sure. I manually cooled the area off and it shut off.

I have heard mine running long after shutting down on very hot days. I changed the snap disk to 110F to minimize the battery drain prior to parking it in the shop.

Is that in an app somewhere? Does increasing that temp cause any issues?

THanks!

It will eventually shut off. That was also my concern. It gets hot here, in the van it can reach well over 100*. I fixated on it , and was checking it every half hour to see if it had turned off. Once the sun goes over the hill it turns off shortly thereafter . My guess is that it probably runs three hours a day, maybe. Mastervolt guy says not to worry about it, but seems to me its additional wear and tear on the fan. Im not going to worry about it, and when it fails hopefully it will still be under warranty .

SNAP switch

My Thor Venetian has a cooler fan in inverter compartment. Switch had way too low start point. Purchased variable temp switch to solve the problem. Starts and stops at more reasonable temps for hot summers.
