2023 Thor Tiburon Upgrades

I am considering trading in my 2019 Thor Snyergy SK for a 2023 Thor Tiburon 24FB and would like some advice/explanation on three upgrades that are on specifications listed below.

- Upgrade Windshield Privacy Close Off Panels. Are this built into the Sprinter or are they separate and require storing and erecting similar to aftermarket solutions. I can’t find any information/demonstrations/pictures/videos

- 3.2 Onan Diesel Generator is it really quieter than previous models? Better than propane?

- Auto Leveling Jacks w/Touch pad Controls. Is this worth $4500

Regarding leveling jacks…
- once you have them you’ll never go back to owning a rig without them. They’re worth every Penny. Period

Regarding generator…
- by having a diesel generator in a diesel powered unit, it’s much easier to manage your fuel supply. Fuel is supplied by same tank that fuels your engine. Not sure abt noise level
Personally, I would not want propane powered generator in a diesel rig, makes no sense to me

^^^Agree with both points above. Propane generator will empty your tank in no time and looses lots of output power in elevations. Diesel is the only way to go. The front window panels look like what I bought from WeatherTech for our Sprinter. BUT...I looked at 4 Tiburons before buying. All four had serious build issues with lots of things...specifically the driver side slides. They were all binding up and stopped half way in. The bathroom doors rubbed on the wall across the "hall". Big air gaps under rear slide and cabinet doors/panels had over torqued screws leaving several of them on the floor during transit. Check ever single detail out multiple times when you go look at them...don't wait till the PDI. I had to walk and go another route. It turned out to be an excellent choice.

I would consider the XT Balmar Under-hood generator (2nd alternator) as I have in my 2022 Tellaro. You should see if you can get with the UHG already installed. I love mine.
I will never have an Onan, mostly b/c they are hard to service underneath especially, and by using the existing engine, you have one less thing to maintain, and approx. 1/40th less emissions, and much quieter!
They are nothing more than a lawn mower engine with a dynamo, and the one I had was very unreliable. I call them "O-man!" generators.

I'd be willing to bet the cost is significantly less too.
I'm seeing $1200-1400 for the kits right off- another $240-275 for the guage/ shunt, w/o or w/ the BT dongle respectively.

Two choices, EB-170 (170A) or EB-250 (250A) depending on your battery bank size.
The 200A ReLion system in my rig used the 170A system, and I have since boosted the battery bank to 600Ah, but still use the 170A UHG. No problems, just takes a little longer to charge I'd get the 250A system if you're much over 400Ah.

Any mobile tech, or GOOD RV center can install.
Maybe even a Mercedes dealer that services RVs if you have one.

Or DIY if you have the skills and space.

Pic is of my UHG on my 2021 Ram Promaster chassis, w/ guard.

I'd suggest the gauge kit as well.

May also want this for protecting alternator.
