Just changed the tire monitoring batteries which I have not done in 2 years and somehow worked last year.

No, but I once loaned my fish & ski boat to a guy that painted our so he could take his son out to the lake on his day with his son from a divorce. My boat made it to the Bottom(less) of Lake Lewisville SP

He hit a sand bar and popped a leaked in the transom and didn't notice the bilge trying pumping water and just kept enjoying his day

I need to go find my TPMS. It was working find I last used it. I don't get the fascination, but hey I got one. I have lots of maintenance work before thinking a trip (oil for chassis and generator). All my spare time these days are sinking on my quest to be DFrankenstein as I am trying to make a toad out of a 6,240 monster.

Please do post a report if you go there.

We are soon going to be in our SW National Parks trip and plan a couple days at Rock Hound State Park then Whitesands. Don't have plans after that. Probably include Socorro and Mountainair for a mini Spanish Missions tour.

It has been many years since we were in Banff. At that time we were towing a pop up tent trailer and had a wonderful trip from Vancouver to Banff and then south into the states.

Post some pictures and we would love to see them.

Judge . . .we live in Blaine Wa.
At least stop for a cup of coffee . . . .it is free (one time offer only)

Our only journey to Alaska had us going through/to Jasper on the way home. It was raining so hard we just drove on through and overnighted at a Calgary Walmart, before going to the north entrance to Yellowstone (with another overnight at a Great Falls Montana CG). Still made for a worthy trip!

Thx Judge. Enjoy fun slow safe travels.
We leave Monday can't wait 1st camping of 2023!

Located just 14 miles southeast of Roswell, Bottomless Lakes State Park is your place for bottomless fun!
Enjoy non-motorized boating in your kayak or canoe, camp, fish, picnic, swim, hike, go birding or even scuba dive! The unique lakes at this park are sinkholes, ranging from 17 to 90 feet deep. The greenish- blue color created by aquatic plants is what gives the lakes the illusion of great depth.

Very funny. Hard to loan folks our stuff. Getting camper ready in last 3 days. Testing systems.
Removed pink stuff the venagar in water tank and flush. Generator started! Yea! Bmpro and phone acted up out of sync. Turned off all rv power reset everywhere and all 100%

We go to Montana soon. Maintenance fully done there. Jim & Traci and my 30 year tech king kurts repair

Enjoy

Yes sir! Banff in Canada along with Jasper just to the northwest. Banff is on the DW's bucket list. We planned to go there when we were in Glacier NP a few years ago but the border was closed because of COVID.

The last night of our Alaska Caravan is in Prince George so Jasper and Banff will be on the way back into the States for us.

I will try to take you up on that offer. We are just starting to get more details about the trip.

We get into Blaine on June 17th and we have an orientation dinner that evening. Looks like the 18th may be fairly open before we head for Cache Creek on the 19th.

I'll keep you posted.... and thanks!

Make sure you try the 5 mile Whiteland hike.
Bring tons of water and snacks (we play tennis hike bike and always have GU OR BLOKS ) saved our butter many times if trail is long and no food.

You can rent slides and slide down white Sands.

Do the white sand boardwalk.

We’re leaving 4/17 for 12 weeks. 24 to 26 National Parks. Several other POI’s in between. My wife mapped/ planned/ reserved the entire trip over the past 3 years. I’m just the driver and mechanical tech. Should be a fun adventure seeing the western US from a windshield. Oh, a few of those stops are Triple D spots!

Judge, if you have not been to Jasper and Banff, you and your wife will love it. We have been there twice. Summer last year was the latest one. Banff is busier than Jasper. Jasper is a very small town. But lot of lakes and outdoor places to visit. I suggest taking your wife to "Spirit Island". It is about 20 min boat ride each way. They spend about 20 mins for you to walk around and take pictures. Banff is busy with tourists. A lot of them on tour buses. Famous places to see are Lake Louise and Moraine Lake. Try to go there early as parking is limited. They will close it at times. Then re-open after about 30 mins or so. Lake Minnewanka is also great place to see.

If you are visting Jasper first, stop by Columbia Icefield on your way to Banff. You have to book the ticket ahead of time for the field trip to the Ice Field. It is about 1 hour drive from Jasper.

In 16 when we did the exact trip Judge is doing, we had a blast. Starting in south east Alabama we took 30 days to get to Anacortes WA the starting point. If you go through there go to the bowling alley for the best fish and chips, Pacific Cod for fish. The trip up to AK up the ALCAN and back the Cassius Highway was as great as the AK part. We also ended at Prince George BC and took 30 day to get home stopping at Banff, both sides of Glacier parks and then down some "lower 48" places ending back in AL 4 months and 12,700 miles later. I think we also had another 6K on the toad, short wrangler. We broke our coach windshield 3 miles out of Prince George on a divided paved road. Saw the rock coming from the other side. Replaced at Winnebago factory as we went through there. Did a WBGO factory tour, Spam museum and Hormel mansion to kill time as the windshield was fixed. Still have a couple cans of spam we bought.
