Does anyone have a similar set up?
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

You have a Carefree of Colorado Latitude patio awning. The operation manual should be on your Thor package, if not you can down load it form the website. Here the the manual's quote:
White (monotone) LEDs are a popular option providing
lighting beneath the awning. Factory installed LEDs are
located on the roller tube or at the awning rail.
To operate the White LED lights, press the LED
power switch ON.
Please note: if the LED are on when the awning is stored they will overheat and burnout in about 10 minutes. Replacement LED strip cost is about $80 retail, but can often be found on E-Bay or Amazon.
