Changing out the door lock

I purchased a keyless entry lock that DH was reading the installation instructions for and came across the part where it says caulk. Do you use any special type of caulk when installing a lock?

Which one did you buy? I could not find one for a motorhome - plenty for trailers. I think there are more regulations for the motorhome door locks.

When I bought my coach the outside trim piece covering the front cap mounting screws needed to be re-caulked. Rather than go back to the dealer I talked to Thor and they informed me they use GeoCel 2300 for exterior caulking. There are a few variations of GeoCel 2300 so you would want to get the 2300 MHRV sealant for use on fiberglass.
