Dash AC blend door/recirculation fuse

2017 Jayco Precept 31UL, F53 chassis. Does anybody know the location of the fuse for the dash blend door/recirculation switch? I shorted it while installing a new switch and can't find the location of the fuse.

Our ACE 30.1 is on the Ford F53 chassis. There are three fuse boxes (four if you count the one for the RV stuff). One is under the dash to the left of the steering wheel, two are under the 'hood', one labeled Battery Control Center the other labeled Power Distribution Box.

If you go to Ford.com/support you can find a link to your model year F53 Chassis Manual.

Yes, I know where the fuse boxes are, I want to know the location of the fuse in the box that controls the blend door. It's not listed in the schematics of the boxes.

Don't know what fuse it is but if you have a test light you could go over the fuses one by one. Hook the test light to a good ground and touch each side of each fuse. The one that only lights on one side is the bad one. Or, get one of these to speed up the process, https://www.amazon.com/Bussmann-FT-3...0454595&sr=8-7

I have a fuse tester, test light, volt/ohm meter. Just would be easier if someone knew the location of the fuse instead of testing every fuse in all three fuse panels.

We're all waiting for you to find it - and then come back to let us know which one it is...

Are there any other electrical items not working? Maybe there are other things fed by that fuse that are identified in the fuse panel layout?

You might try posting this in the Jayco Facebook group.

This is the best manual for the Evans Tempcon RV dash airconditioning system

Not an Evans, it's a Denso system.

Have you registered at Thor's website and downloaded the floorplan and schematic document? If not, do so. The information is invaluable.

If your '17 31L uses the same "logic", ie, shared design, as my '18 29M, you'll find that fuse F10 (10A) in the Bussman fuse box forward of the driver's left foot supplies power to the HVAC controls.
