Random Voltage Surge

I have a 2016 Axis 25.2. I’m getting random voltage surges when I drive. When the voltage surges, my dashboard brake and abs lights turn on. The lights are sometimes a flash and other times stay on for 10-30 seconds.
I tested the batteries and they are all good.
Any ideas where to begin?

How do you know it’s a voltage surge and not a problem with the brake system or a wheel speed sensor?

I’m assuming it’s a voltage issue because the needle on the dash gauge moves to the right when the brake and abs lights go on. When they go off, the needle moves to the left

A shot in the dark

You are saying it is the voltmeter gauge that pegs out to the right?
I would confirm with a voltmeter that the 12VDC circuit is actually experiencing higher voltage when the needle moves right.
You could clean the battery terminals and ensure tight (clean?) connections on the alternator/starter circuit... I am thinking if the battery connection is not there then the alternator may turn on fully.

Otherwise it may be a bad regulator (in the alternator) and I would suspect it would throw a code at you, maybe check that.
