Furnace issues

Has anyone had a similar furnace issue as I’m having? Furnace starts normally, then the fan slows to a lower speed. Then furnace works intermittently.

Need lots more information....

Make, model and year of coach as well as make of furnace.

Could be anything from a propane issue, air fuel mixture issue, mainboard issue, switch issue or water intrusion issue.

Most RV furnaces have a single speed fan. So if the fan slows that means one of two things:

The fan bearings are dragging and slowing it down, or
The supply voltage is drooping due to a bad wiring connection.

Both of those would cause the subsequent intermittent operation.

My bet is on a bad wiring issue either on the positive supply or the furnace ground.

We have a 2018 Thor Hurricane 31z class A. Not sure what the furnace make is. Control panel is a Coleman-Mach. That could be just the control model though. Thanks you

Probably an Atwood/Dometic model. Really no difference in them except for the size.

Coleman-Mach is just your thermostat.

Agree with ACE's recommendations for checking wiring.

I would also check the propane to make sure there is no air in the lines or pressure related problem. Make sure you can light your stove... it stays lit.... and the flame is consistent with a nice blue color to it.

There could also be an issue with the Sail Switch or High Temp Limit Sensor.
